Credit: 2 hours.
(LAW 382) Examination of the problems of advocacy and tactics at the trial level. Students engage in all aspects of actual trial work, including witness preparation, opening and closing statements, direct and cross examination, and jury instructions; culminates in student conduct of a full jury trial in late spring; demonstrations are conducted by staff and visiting judges and practitioners.
Can be repeated to a total of 4 hours. Prerequisite: Completed or enrolled concurrently with LAW 682. JD students only.
