(IB 306) Evolutionary mechanisms underlying adaptations; emphasizes origin and subsequent modification of major complex systems; pertinent evidence considered from several disciplines, including population biology, developmental biology, structural analysis and paleobiology.
Prerequisite: IB 150 and MCB 150; IB 201 recommended; or consent of instructor.
