(GEOL 351) Discusses nondestructive geophysical methods to reveal subsurface structures. Topics include seismic, gravity, magnetics, electrical methods, ground penetrating radar, borehole geophysics, and their applications to hydrocarbon and mineral exploration as well as engineering and environmental investigations.

Several required local trips for field experiments. Prerequisite: PHYS 212 and MATH 242.
