(CHEM 422) Structure of the metal solution interface. Electrochemical and physical methods for probing metal/solution interface. Electroanalysis. Principles of electrochemical instrumentation for electroanalysis. Electrode materials. Electrochemical surface science and electrocatalysis.

Prerequisite: General physics and chemistry equivalent to a major for a bachelor's degree.
