Credit: 3 hours.

(CHEM 115) Introduces students majoring in non-technical fields to the chemical model of the material universe, describing the structure and dynamics of changing matter with special emphasis on the materials and processes of everyday living.

Credit not given for students with prior credit in CHEM 102, CHEM 202 or equivalent, except for students in the Teaching of Chemistry or Teacher Education Minor in Chemistry programs. Prerequisite: Two years of high school algebra.
