(ARTCR 170) Introduction to materials and techniques involved in the ceramic process. By achieving technical expertise in clay, students can begin to develop a personal artistic language employing clay as an art medium. Students will explore a variety of assignments employing the potters wheel and hand-building techniques, as well as investigating various firing processes.
Prerequisite: Sophomore standing or consent of instructor.
Additional Class Materials Charge of $75 Required. For Art majors only.
