(EOL 466) Advanced graduate study of financing public education systems in the United States; focuses on the social, economic, political, legal, and technical dimensions of developing school finance policy for federal, state, and local governments; relates theory and research in public school finance to administrative practice in budgeting and financial administration.

Prerequisite: Graduate standing or consent of instructor.

This section is primarily for students in the new EOL cohort who will begin their program of student in the fall 2005 semester. However, continuing EOL students that need the course can enroll in the sections also. Class meetings are Fridays 6:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturdays 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM; class meets on Sept 16 & 17, Oct 7 & 8, Nov 4 & 5 and 18 & 19, and Dec 9 & 10.
