(E P S 414) Course examines the philosophical, historical and political issues that are involved in formulating religious education policy in liberal, democratic societies such as the United States. Its primary focus is on church state relations and on the arguments that are made to advance religious secular education.

Prerequisite: Two E P S courses at 300-level or two religious courses at 300-level, or consent of instructor
