(E P S 305) Studies selected educational theorists and intellectual movements; provides familiarity with the major educational ideas of the past and historical perspectives on current issues and problems in education; and critical readings of such authors as Aristotle, Plato, Quintilian, St. Augustine, Loyola, Comenius, Rousseau, Pestalozzi, Froebel, Herbart, and Dewey.
