This course is entirely an online asynchronous course. This course provides an introduction to the three types of intellectual property: copyright, trademark, and patent. After completing this course, students will be familiar with intellectual property rights, understand the difference between the three branches of intellectual property, and be able to understand how intellectual property rights protect discoveries, products, brands, and creative output in society.
