Individual investigations or studies of freshman and sophomore phase of nuclear, plasma, or radiological engineering selected by the student and approved by the department.

Approved for Letter and S/U grading. May be repeated in separate terms up to 4 hours, if topics vary. Prerequisite: Department and instructor approval. Restricted to Freshman or Sophomore students.
