Lecture content addresses the fundamental tissue types and organ systems with a comparative perspective across vertebrate taxa, emphasizing how microstructure reflects function, while a virtual laboratory component provides hands-on experience with high-resolution digital slide imaging. Recommended for upper-level undergraduates and graduate students in the biological or biomedical sciences. Serves as an Area 3 Advanced Lab course for the IB Major.
