Fairness is an essential issue for test validity and permeates all stages of test development and use. Students will learn about the issues that affect fairness in test design (e.g., accessibility, modifications), analysis (e.g., measurement invariance, differential item functioning), and use (e.g., sensitivity panels, consequences of use). The topics covered in this class will emphasize the advanced application and development of methodological approaches for equitable assessments. Prerequisites: PSYC 490 or PSYC 595/EPSY 585
