The University of Illinois Steel Band performs music from the calypso, soca, jazz, and popular repertoire. Percussion majors are automatically accepted into the Steel Band.
1 undergraduate hour. 1 graduate hour. May be repeated in separate semesters to a maximum of 8 undergraduate hours or 6 graduate hours. Prerequisite: Audition and/or consent of instructor.
