Topic: This course examines the significance and impact of Latina/o/x foodways in the U.S. It will highlight the diverse contributions from the community—from labor in the fields and processing plants to roles in cooking, food business, scientific innovation, and social media —demonstrating how Latina/o/x individuals shape the food industry nationwide. We will focus on Latina/o/x cuisine in the U.S. and emphasize the creators behind it.
