Importantly, Black feminist theory, poetics and practice have always remembered and valued the experiences of Black girls and informs the design of this course and related lectures. Together, we will address various topics within the field, including foundations, lived experiences, sexuality, popular culture, arts, representation, policy, and digital humanities (broadly defined). Restriction(s): Not intended for Undergrad - Urbana-Champaign.
