ETMA 452
Credit: 3 OR 4 hours.
Project-based experience designed to develop resilient food, energy, and water supply chains for disaster-prone regions. Investigate factors to provide context and viable design solutions for these regions. Work with local communities, aid organizations, and peer institutions to identify resilient designs, eventually seeking pathways to implement solutions with partner communities. Emerge with skills for managing projects, while communicating closely with communities where unique factors have significant impacts on sustainable solutions.
3 OR 4 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. May be repeated by undergraduate students, if topics vary and with instructor approval, to a maximum of 7 hours in separate terms. Undergraduates repeating the course would have an additional contact hour to earn 4 hours. Graduate students will not be allowed to repeat the course. Credit is not given toward graduation for: ABE 452 and ETMA 452.
