Renewable energy sources and applications, including solar, geothermal, wind, and biomass. Environmental consequences of energy conversion including how renewable energy can reduce air pollution and global climate change. Economics of alternative energy systems.

3 undergraduate hours. 3 graduate hours. Credit is not given for both ETMA 438 and ABE 436. Prerequisite: Restricted to Junior, Senior or Graduate students.
