CWL 581: Seminar Literary Themes Postcoloniality in the Machine: where empire meets algorithm, and literature meets code Description: Introduces advanced graduate students in CWL to computation’s cultural history juxtaposed with postcolonial theory, treating coding as a comparative method. Students reconceive texts as data, experiment with Python, and explore large language models conceptually. Registration restricted to CWL doctoral students and/or instructor permission.
