This sub-internship is designed for fourth-year students interested in Neurology who want intensive, hands-on experience at CI MED. Students will work in the busy ED performing neurology consultations, serving as the first point of contact for many patients each day. The rotation emphasizes developing confidence in the neurological exam, sharpening diagnostic reasoning, managing patient sign-outs, and gaining proficiency in clinical documentation. This experience will prepare students for residency by offering high-volume exposure and meaningful responsibility.
4 professional hours. Approved for S/U grading only. Prerequisite: Completion of years 1 - 3 of the CI MED curriculum. Restricted to students enrolled in CI MED.
