Topics in Risk Management
Section Info:
An introduction to a set of quantitative tools for risk management. Topics include dependence modeling, risk measures, aggregate loss models, extreme value theory, as well as some other advanced topics in emerging risks and technologies if time permits. Prerequisite: ASRM 401/STAT 408 or STAT 400 or MATH 461. This section is not intended for graduate students. Graduate students in the Actuarial Science Program interested in this course should enroll in ASRM 595 GQR.
