Applied Leadership and Management in Agricultural and Food Supply Chains is a capstone course that examines how firms across agricultural, food, and beverage supply chains navigate disruptions and adapt to contemporary challenges, such as regulatory reform, macroeconomic uncertainty, and shifts in consumer demand. Students will engage in case studies, discuss current events, and learn from industry leaders to see leadership and management strategies in action. The course promotes the essential soft skills that employers value in today’s job market, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication. By the end of the semester, students will acquire practical knowledge of supply chain management and essential leadership skills necessary to succeed in today’s food and agricultural industries.
