Introduces students to the principles, policies, and politics of climate justice. Drawing on interdisciplinary research and real-world case studies, the course explores how climate change intersects with systems of inequality - including race, class, colonialism, and geography - and how frontline communities are mobilizing for equitable and sustainable futures. Emphasis will be placed on environmental justice frameworks, community-based movements, and applied strategies for inclusive climate action.

Credit is not given toward graduation for: UP 186 and UP 199 OPF.
