Prepares Ph.D. students for successful academic careers as researchers, teachers, and scholars. The course emphasizes research development, professional skills, teaching, and service. Students will engage in the research and publication process, develop proposals, participate in peer review, and produce high‑quality research presentations. The writing‑intensive format includes guest panels, group presentations, and interactive Q&A sessions.
Prerequisite: Statistics PhD, post-qualifying exam status or permission of instructor.
