Research and analyze audience, purpose, cultural context, and conventions of different writing situations and use that knowledge to compose projects in different genres and modalities. Particular sections will contain a theme, such as writing in the disciplines, the rhetoric of podcasts, or the use of generative AI. Coursework includes invention, drafting, and revision activities throughout the course in a collaborative learning environment.
Prerequisite: Completion of campus Composition I general education requirement.
