Introduction to the fundamentals of preparing and presenting radio and television weather broadcasts. Emphasis is placed on the gathering of meteorological information, preparing weather forecasts for broadcast, explaining various meteorological phenomena, preparing professional weather graphics, and developing presentation skills. Special topics include science/environmental reporting and severe weather coverage.

3 undergraduate hours. 3 graduate hours. Prerequisite: Restricted to Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate students.
