By becoming familiar with concepts (like Jihad, caliphate, political Islam, etc.) the students will gain knowledge that will allow them to better understand the current state-of-affairs. The students will be encouraged to raise subjects they wish to learn more about, and meetings will include weekly discussions in class. Grades will be based on written assignments, participation in class, and attendance in public events (two). pending pre-approval, some written assignments could be replaced with presentations, comics, etc.
