Les Années noires (1940-1944) and their aftermath in film, literature, memoirs and documents such as photography. We’ll explore the following: the Vichy regime ; everyday life in Paris during the Nazi Occupation ; collaboration and resistance ; the Holocaust ; the interplay between history and memory. Online synchronous, weekly meetings on Zoom.
