Credit: 2 TO 3 hours.
The goals of the Undergraduate Practicum are to apply learned or new tools on real world projects of interest to corporate sponsors, replicate as closely as possible the environment of the working world where students will soon find themselves employed, work cohesively with other members of a team to efficiently produce the desired project results, and be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including the sponsor and/or co-workers.
2 to 3 undergraduate hours. No graduate credit. May be repeated in the same term up to 6 undergraduate hours if topics vary or in separate terms up to 12 undergraduate hours. Prerequisite: Restricted to Gies College of Business majors with Senior standing.
