Intro to UX Theory and Tools
Section Info:
Introduction to UX Theory and Tools introduces fundamental UX design principles and hands-on training with essential tools like Figma. Students explore user psychology, interaction design, information architecture, and usability while practicing wireframing, prototyping, and collaboration. Through lectures, workshops, and projects, they develop beginner-level proficiency in creating and evaluating user interfaces. Open to all academic backgrounds with no prior experience required, this course is a recommended precursor for DTX 495: Student-Centered App Design.
