Credit: 2 hours.

Students will attend procedures, perform consultations, and review cases with attending Gastroenterologists. Students will be given library and learning assignments related to patient cases presented in the office and hospital. Students will be an active participant in clinic seeing patients under direct physician supervision.

2 professional hours. Approved for S/U grading only. May be repeated in separate semesters to a maximum of 4 credit hours. Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Carle Illinois Internal Medicine Clerkship. Restricted to students enrolled in Phase 2 or Phase 3 of the Carle Illinois College of Medicine curriculum.
