- Build a rigorous toolset and conceptual knowledge base in numerical and AI weather modeling, with a primary focus on forecasting/prediction. Students will learn how to thoughtfully design experiments and run both numerical and AI models. In the process, students will define key model components and processes, develop model output analysis tools, and contrast numerical and AI weather models. Attend synchronous Zoom lab session Wednesdays, 2-3:20 PM CT OR 7:30-8:50 PM CT.
