Credit: 4 hours Section Title: Public Library Partnerships Section Info: Libraries play a role in establishing partnerships. Successful partnerships rely on a bidirectional relationship where the needs of both the library and stakeholder are mutually considered. Partnerships rely on the library, stakeholders, and citizens participating in active dialogue to evaluate and assess community needs in order to develop and implement services, and programs. The focus of this course is public libraries, but students will be able to apply what they learned to other information-providing settings. Restriction(s): Restricted to Graduate - Urbana-Champaign. Restricted to students in the Information Sciences department.
