Course description and objectives This in-person course is designed to help residents and graduate students enhance their professional skills, knowledge, and competencies. The course will entail: 1. Time management as a resident/graduate student 2. Securing fellowship, scholarships, and externship opportunities 3. Networking and relationship-building kit 4. Career guide: value, interests, and skills assessment 5. Career exploration in the field of pathology (toxicologic pathology in pharmaceutical industries and contract research organizations, academia, entrepreneurial, USDA, NIH, diagnostic laboratories) 6. Job application material preparation (CV, cover letter, diversity statement, etc.) 7. Mock interviews 8. Communication skills a. Oral and poster presentation of pathology-related and research studies b. Writing of manuscripts – pathology case reports and research findings
