Italian Construction Methods
Section Info:
Italian Construction Methods: Past, Present, and Future: Italy is home to some of the most famous and historic structures in the world. Explore the methods used to construct these structures from the ancient Etruscans (~4,000 BC), the Roman Empire (~70 AD), and modern-day. The program will consist of construction-themed service projects in Northern Italy as well as travel through Italy to explore different cities and sites. Course includes a mandatory field trip to Italy May 19-30. Contact Travisj2@illinois.edu with questions. This course will include a weekly class meeting March through May, with a field experience to Italy May 19-30, 2025.
