Provides students with culturally responsive, micro-level skills development for working with and on behalf of individuals, families, and groups. Builds on the basic helping skills learned in SOCW 401 and offers further practice on interviewing skills, more emphasis on ethical decision-making, assessment, and intervention, evaluation applied to individuals, families, and groups.
3 undergraduate hours. No graduate credit. Prerequisite: SOCW 401.
