Science Communication for Mechanical Engineers II

Credit: 2 hours.

Instruction and practice in written and oral science communication to technical and non-technical audiences, focusing on data visualization and the effective design of scientific posters. Topics include literature reviews, NSF project summary development, data visualization techniques, scientific poster creation, effective plot and data representations, and the process of giving and receiving constructive feedback.

Prerequisite: ME 592.
