This course is designed to acquaint students with the cultural and production aspects of podcasting as a form of public storytelling. Course activities will help students become intentional consumers, critics and producers of podcasts, and aware of the social functions within the current cultural landscape. Students will be introduced to the conventions of storytelling, learn the production skills to produce public stories and end the course producing their own cultural intervention in podcasting.
