SHOW FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE

Examines specific topics in Latina/Latino Studies not addressed in regularly offered courses. Examples include theories of ethnic identity, historical foundations, cultural expression, and relevant topics in public policy studies of Latina/Latino communities.

Through state records, family albums, protest posters, oral testimony, and digital traces, we ask how power, race, and institutional priorities determine what is preserved or lost. The course also invites students to assemble an archive of Latina/o community histories that speaks to the current moment.
