A foundation course in the humanities for adult learners in the Odyssey program. Team-taught by faculty with humanities expertise, it focuses on close, attentive, and critical readings of key texts, images, and artefacts drawn from the humanities, arts, and related fields. The course engages students in entry-level disciplinary and multi-disciplinary humanities inquiry, and provides academic skill-building, including critical thinking and writing.
Approved for Letter and S/U grading. Prerequisite: Restricted to adult students in the Odyssey program.
