Section Info:
Advanced Grammar in Context. Each week, one class will be devoted to the study and practice of major grammatical components of the French language. We'll make use of songs and other materials to observe these components in context. In the other class, we'll reflect on the emotional, aesthetic, social and political dimensions of the French language, sometimes with the help of guest speakers. Work on advanced structures and aspects of the contemporary French language anchored in the development of intercultural competence, intended to understand and be understood in complex, sophisticated, authentic Francophone contexts.
