The Role of Theory in Educational Research

Credit: 4 hours.

Examines the theoretical and philosophical foundations of educational research, including questions about the nature of reality, how we acquire knowledge and understanding about the world, and the values that guide research. Implications for research methodology, ethics, and theoretical frameworks will be explored.
