BHWELL Field Seminar

There will be three 90-minute online synchronous sessions scheduled as follows: May 22, 2024, 6:30-8:00 pm Central Time June 12, 2024, 6:30-8:00 pm Central Time July 17, 2024, 6:30-8:00 pm Central Time This course provides support through a team-based approach for BHWELL scholars during field placement, while highlighting techniques, skills and evidence-based practices that students will need to function at a high level as a clinical social worker and behavioral health consultant in primary care settings, with emphasis on underserved populations and areas as defined by HRSA. This course is required for BHWELL scholars on the integration of behavior health (IBH) and primary care. Participants will learn and process the application of IBH models, skills, and resources for implementation and inter-professional practice.
