This course offers a comprehensive exploration of AI's impact on healthcare. Healthcare professionals will gain a conceptual understanding of AI applications through medical case studies and machine learning models. The course empowers participants to confidently read AI literature, make data-driven decisions, identify AI tools, and actively participate in the selection and deployment of AI-based medical software.
No graduate credit. 4 professional hours. Approved for S/U grading only. Prerequisite: Restricted to students enrolled in the Care Illinois College of Medicine.
