Mass and Ion Transport in Polymers

Credit: 4 hours.

Molecular and ion transport in polymers: This course will cover a range of topics associated with small molecule (gas, liquid, dye) and ion transport in polymers starting from a fundamental perspective. Applications including gas separations, drug diffusion, liquid extractions, water purification, and electrolytes for batteries will also be discussed.

4 graduate hours. No professional credit. Prerequisite: MSE 450, CHBE 456, or equivalent.
