Eye Tracking in Reading Res
Section Info:
Title: Eye Tracking in Reading Research. Students will be introduced to the theoretical and historical foundations of using eye-tracking in reading and language research during the 1st half of the semester. The second half of the course will consist of practical, hands-on training and practice using a state-of-the-art eye tracker in a laboratory setting. Skills to be developed include operating the eye tracker, developing appropriate experimental materials, programming experiments, collecting data, analyzing data, and interpreting results, all of which will be conducted in the instructor's lab. Note: This course will meet the 2nd half of the semester in 1424 and/or 1536 Beckman Institute.
