Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders Across Communication Contexts

Credit: 3 hours.

Introduces students to the developmental issues involved in supporting communication for children with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs), with emphasis on the needs of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), fragile X syndrome (FXS), Down syndrome (DS), and Williams syndrome (WS), in family, educational and community contexts.
