The material used offers students an opportunity to develop their use of the language in a more professional manner, taking into consideration semantic and pragmatic appropriateness in communicating in the work environment. As a language course, it places strong emphasis on the linguistic aspects of business Portuguese and provides students with the necessary language to cope well in various professional situations.
