Credit: 3 hours.
Provides the tools to develop a sustainable fashion collection, from concept to consumer. Students will learn the fundamental aspects of the cycle, from the first spark in the creative process to consumer and market analysis, emphasizing the development of sustainable fashion lines, branding and communication. Investigations of new business models and best practices for apparel production will guide class discussions. Students will be responsible for launching their own fictional sustainable labels and collections.
