Section Title:
Senses
Section Info:
An exploration into the senses as ephemeral and subjective bodily experiences, the sensory perception of the environment (in physiological and psychological terms), and how attention to the senses can more thoughtfully and actively guide landscape and architectural design. We will start with vision only long enough to launch into the more elusive senses of sound, smell, and touch.   Classes take the form of lectures, seminar-style discussions, and laboratories.
